Technical Microfleece Fabric

Our 100% Polyester material doesn't soak up mud, rain, or sweat like a cotton hoodie will; and washes up like new, with a comfortable microfleece interior

Ridewear meets Casual. Our Freeride Crew Sweatshirt blends technical fabrics and features into our most casual looking garment ever!

Specially designed for riding with a long-tail shape, and generous body and arm lengths; The Freeride Crew is the perfect companion whether you're riding, building your trails, or enjoying a post-ride beer.

With it's full Polyester microfleece construction, this crewneck deals with mud, sweat, and oil and washes like new. The under-arm venting allows you to get air in when you need it, and a pair of hidden zippered pockets stash your valuables.

This crew has been custom designed in the UK from the ground-up to fit around your MTB lifestyle.

Product Features
  • Cotton-free; Technical 100% Polyester with microfleece interior. This 300gsm material sheds mud, washes well, and doesn't get heavy and sweaty like a traditional cotton hoodie will.
  • Large, zippered under-arm vents with mesh lining for controlling ventilation.
  • Hidden zippered side pockets to stash your valuables.
  • Durable, high quality YKK zips are used throughout.
  • Zip pullers for ease of use whilst wearing gloves.
  • Elongated arms to keep you fully covered whilst riding, with tidy elasticated wrists.
  • Long-tail shape for perfect attack-position coverage.
  • The polyester won't soak up rain like a cotton hoodie does and will ward off light rain showers, but still might require a wash-in DWR treatment if you plan to use it for riding in heavy rain.
  • Designed in the U.K. for mixed riding conditions.
  • Large screen-printed graphic and our signature tan embossed patch on the front pocket, for a casual street-inspired look.
As with all Context gear, our no-fuss 1 year crash replacement scheme covers any accidental damage.

    Exactly what I needed

Posted by Adam on 18th Apr 2025

Bought this as I wanted a long sleeve, no hood jumper that would offer me long sleeve protection for my arms as well as being able to withstand a bit of the cold (and heat) that scottish weather can bring and that is exactly what I got! This jumper is sick, two front zip pockets, big enough for snacks or tools that dont get in the way. A big scooped hem on the rear to keep the trousers and your back from being caked in mud and who doesn't love the pit vent steeze for a bit of fresh air. This product is an absolute bargain at the price I paid (£55). For reference I was able to wear this with nothing on underneath in both 8 degree C weather and 18 degree C weather and be absolutely fine. yes you will sweat hard at the high end but the protection offered is worth it to me!

Great product. Long arms and body so it doesn't ride up when on the the bike. Warm and good vents. Zipped pockets are great too

    Freeride Crew sweatshirt

I love this sweatshirt! High quality, great fit , pockets ideal for mobile phone and snacks . This sweatshirt is ideal for Spring and Autumn when it's still a bit chilly but too warm for an outer jacket and too cold for just a t shirt. I had been looking for something like this for a long time and glad to have found it with Context ? Strongly recommended.

    Freeride Crew

I bought a few Context products, all have been on point for the money, will certainly buy more in the future. This top came up slightly large in me (6,2”, slim) in size Large, but I prefer snug fitting stuff so probably perfect if you like it a bit baggy. Looking forward to you guys producing some more long leg trousers..!!
