Our Context MTB shorts have been developed to be the only MTB shorts you'll ever need! We've designed these to be the perfect match for a wide range of MTB disciplines; Hard wearing and robust enough for Downhill laps, yet comfortable and water resistant enough for long, muddy trail rides, and perfect for everything in between. These have generous leg length to prevent the dreaded 'knee pad gap' whilst riding, and a high-backed shape which gives great rear coverage when riding in the attack position. Add in our signature subtle style, you can ride all day in these and wear them to the pub afterwards.

Product Features

  • Breathable Nylon-elastane front panel materials, for breathability and lightweight feel.
  • Polyester softshell rear material for splash resistance and robustness in high-wear areas. 
  • Single-piece rear panel removes all seams in the saddle area for ultimate all-day saddle comfort.
  • Silicone gripper strip around the waist keeps them securely in place.
  • Ratchet adjustable waistband for a perfectly dialled fit. 
  • Two zippered, secure pockets. The left pocket contains a key tether to keep valuables attached.
  • High quality 'YKK' zips throughout, with integrated covers. 
  • Signature 'Context Gravity Co' embossed branded patch on the right knee.

    Was a little nervous about the shorts fitting as I usually buy an XL for my 36" waist, but the Large fit spot on. Pockets are big enough for a phone and keys, key strap is a nice touch. Jersey fits great nice and light and the longer back was good. Worn in 2° with the Freeride hoodie and was incredibly comfortable and definitely warm enough! Would 100% recommend.

    Always been a fan of Endura but these shorts are my new favourites. Comfortable, well fitted and look good and price is good. Sizing was spot on. T shirt was for my son, opted for the white one and it's washed well after several muddy rides. He tells me it's comfortable and cool to wear. Will be buying more from Context.

    Great MTB shorts!

    These are great shorts. The fit is perfect, long enough to avoid any knee gap with pads, but not so long/loose they catch and drag anywhere. Neat design and subtle logo. Also like the buckle closure. Super comfortable to wear on the trails and look great. Any complaints? Well the pockets are far too deep. Most of us will likely use the pockets for our phones, which disappear into the void and are then hard to get out! I guess it's better than being too small but in the next revision would be great to have at least one phone-friendly pocket.
